Mm, probably. It's pretty interesting, this 'network'. I never would have thought it was possible to communicate with people in such a way. It's quite amazing.
[And mind blowing. Putting her focus back on her meal she begins to finish up what's on her plate, relaxing back in her chair once all that's left are fishbones on the plate.]
All of the technology here is, but yes -- the network combines several different social phenomenons at once. A community board and a distance mirror, for many people at once all in real time.
[ He smiles at her again as he finishes his own plate, setting his fork down. ]
[ He passes her the currency once again -- not minding paying for her for awhile, as he's working and relatively 'kept' now that he's in a contract. But once she's paid he's standing as well, guiding her back towards her tower. ]
[Taking the money she pays the waitress, happy to hand it over. Whatever change she's given she passes back to Trevor once they're out of the restaurant.]
[She didn't. Thankfully it doesn't take too long for the two of them to make their way back to her apartment. Door unlocked she kicks off her sandals, moving to flop herself down onto the sofa.]
[ Trevor hovers near the door, not sure if he's meant to stay... but there is that one thing they still need to talk about. That he doesn't know how to bring up. ]
It's getting a bit late... shall I leave you to rest?
[ He can feel color rising to his cheeks as he steps out of his shoes and further into the apartment. Well. This won't be eloquent, but perhaps he can just get it out. ]
I actually though I should ask. If you've considered quota yet...
[What is she even supposed to expect him to say anyway? It's not like she has any idea how to go about this the right way. The last thing she needs is to let her embarrassment overtake her. Her hands find her face for a moment as she takes a breath, before reaching out to pat the space on the sofa beside her. C'mere Trevor.]
[ Oh thank god. One of them is at least a little smooth. Trevor looks relieved when she pats the couch, coming over and sitting beside her. And then it's natural enough to put his arm around her, like he's done so many times before... it still stings that she doesn't remember, but they're making new memories now. Hopefully he doesn't screw it up. ]
My first time here was in an elevator, heavily drugged. I just don't want that sort of thing to happen to you.
[Trevor may be a lot of things but he wasn't an overbearing pervert or a man with bad morals. He was...nice, beneath the tough hide he had grown for himself over the years out of necessity. If she was going to do this with anyone, it would be him.
...and it would be a lie to say she hadn't imagined what it would be like to kiss him either.]
Close your eyes.
[It's not a question but a command as she shifts a bit on the couch, turning her body to face him better, cheeks growing darker by the second.]
[ Placated by her saying that, Trevor nods and closes his eyes... and waits, his arm warm around her as she shifts. He knows what's probably coming and is honestly surprised by her boldness, having not expected to do more than cuddle and get used to being in proximity like this, but it hasn't happened yet. ]
[The thing about Sypha is that she's never one to take things slow. She's all fire one moment and ice the next, one extreme to the other. If they were going to do this and this was something she was going to have to do, regardless on how she felt about it...she might as well just go for it, right? Trevor was Trevor. She'd slept against him sharing his stinking, dirty cloak, shoulder to shoulder. She had trusted her life to him when they had been fighting in Dracula's castle. There was no reason to be afraid or apprehensive, right?
She just had to get over herself.
Sucking in a breath through her nose she plants a hand either side of his face, holding it in place. Maybe she would end up bad at this, maybe it would be weird...but it didn't matter. She leans in to press her lips against his, letting her own eyes close in the process. His mouth is warm. It's there beneath hers. The hair on his chin is kind of scratchy. She was kissing Trevor Belmont.
[ Yup, she sure is kissing him. A bit awkwardly, just a sudden press of lips like she's uncertain what to do here, but Trevor knows how to kiss her. He knows what she likes and he thinks, just to make sure this goes smoothly, that it would be alright if he kissed her back like that.
His hand comes up to cup her cheek, far more gently than she's gripping his face. And he eases her into a proper kiss, tongue stroking her bottom lip until her mouth opens on a soft inhale. It's not aggressive, just gently leading her in the right direction as he did on their walk. Guidance.
Hopefully she'll be distracted enough by the brush of his tongue against hers that she won't mind the scruff. ]

Just the thing after an active day, hm?

[It honestly was exactly what she needed.]
Although now I'm not sure I want to stand up again.

[ He's joking, but also perfectly capable, and no one would bat an eye. ]

[And to prove as much she pushes herself up to stand.]

How long do you think it'll take to walk back?

[She grabs his arm, tugging him forward...in the wrong direction. It's fine. She doesn't know where she's going.]

[ He doesn't blame her for being confused, given the meandering path they took to get here, but steers her back the right way. ]

[There's a sigh at that as she sits up on the sofa, watching him hover in the doorway.]
Sick of me already?
[She's joking of course.]

It crossed my mind, yes...
[It was kind of hard to really forget about it when everything around them was steeped in sex.]

[ Is he making sense? He feels like he's not making sense. ]
I'm sorry, I'm not making this sound very romantic--

[Way to put her in the mood, Trevor. His arm around her is a welcome weight however, and she leans into the touch.]
I'm sorry.
